The 24th April 2013, it was the first time I saw Rammstein in concert. I remember this moment as a pilgramage. It was one year ago, I have the feeling that it was yesterday. Time runs so fast.
This year Rammstein is twenty years old.
I celebrate a double birthday, of the group, of my first concert.
I discovered Rammstein when I was sixteen. A friend of mine put the album Mutter in the CD player, third pist. I immediatly fall in love with "Sonne", with this music. I listened all the album, and my friend lent me Herzeleid, Sehnsucht and Reise, reise. All songs had produced on me the same effect : beats, insects in my stomach, euphoria.
During years I listened this music, without concern about texts. Music talked to my instinct, it was enough. I grew up, I aged. I made literary studies.
So, the 24th April 2013, I rediscovered a group that was present in the background of my life. The candle in my heart became a fire.
I wanted to know the meanings of texts. I found translations on the Internet. I was subjugated. I found poetry, feelings I suffered, writtings about life. Rammstein teached me about life, love, literature, music. Their songs talk to my heart.
Since one year the fire burns as strong as ever.
My sensations during the concert in Lyon was so strong, intense... I needed an other dose ! So in July I reiterated the experience. I came back to see Rammstein in "Festival des Vieilles charrues", on the first row. I waited thirteen hours under the sun. Je ne regrette rien. The hour and half the more intense in my life : so much people, so much perspiration, so much sound, so much fire !
The emotion never left me.
But, we don't care about my life ! I juste want to say thank you et congratulations.
Thank you for your music, for your texts, for your concerts. Congratulations for those last twenty years.
I wish you the same success for the next twenty years. I wish your public and I a dvd, a new album and a new tour :D
